Ohr Haner Guide

The workflow is simple: find a source, open it, add it to your sheet, add mefarshim, then export.

Quick Start (First Time)

  1. Find a source

On the search path, use Find a Source. Type a sefer and place (for example: Berachos 2a, Shemos 3:2, Orach Chaim 1).

  2. Choose where to start

Click a search result, pick the starting section, then click Open Source.

  3. Add it to your sheet

After the text loads in the preview, click Add This Source to Sheet. In Browse, choosing a final source lets you add it to the sheet directly.

  4. Add Mefarshim

In your sheet, click Add Mefarshim, choose what you want, then click Add Under This Source or Add as Separate Source.

  5. Organize and export

Drag sources to reorder, set your sheet title, then use Print / Export and choose PDF (or TXT/MD/JSON).

Useful Extras

  • To focus on one part of a source, highlight text and click Use Selected Text.
  • To undo that filter, click Show Full Text.
  • For longer sources, switch between Wall of Text and Show Section Breaks to control the layout.
  • When a list is long, type a number in the jump box instead of scrolling to that siman, daf, chapter, or verse.

Common Mistakes

  • Opening a source but not clicking Add This Source to Sheet.
  • Searching too broadly. Use a more specific sefer and place.
  • Trying to export before adding at least one source to the sheet.
